About Us

Introduction

Citizens Advice South East Staffordshire is a registered charity that provides free, confidential, impartial and independent advice to residents of Lichfield District.

We give advice and information on a wide variety of subjects, including debt, welfare benefits, housing, consumer matters, immigration, relationships, family and taxes.

You can find self-help information on these subjects.

If you need our help, you can contact us in person, call our Adviceline, email us or write to us.

We also offer practical support, including filling in forms and drafting letters. We speak to and negotiate with third parties, including creditors.

We are a source of influence on local and national social policy and use evidence of our clients' problems to campaign for improvements to policies and services.

Our Aims and Principles

We help people overcome their problems and campaign on big issues when their voices need to be heard.

We value diversity, champion equality, and challenge discrimination and harassment. We’re here for everyone.

Projects and Funding

As a registered charity, we are only able to provide our services through funding from different sources and donations and fundraising activities.

We are grateful for all donations and other help from local people. Please support us if you can.

We have a number of funded projects to provide support in key areas, including debt, welfare benefits and energy saving.
